So and Andrew is like real deal cowboy and uh takes care. Can you can you describe the highlights this morning? So we were hog hunting horses and mules. What was going on? What stood out to you? 00:03:55 Speaker 6: We were chasing around some some dogs, all over some pretty good big country. It's nice to get right through all that hardwood bottoms and stuff like that. 00:04:07 Speaker 5: It's nice to see it. 00:04:11 Speaker 6: I kind of had to leave before all the actions started. So really, my my part of the story is not is well. 00:04:15 Speaker 1: I thought you might tell about Dale's little little little stunt that he that he pulled. 00:04:21 Speaker 5: Oh which one good question, the. 00:04:24 Speaker 1: One that happened at eleven seventeen. My lawyers would be contact him about. 00:04:29 Speaker 3: I did get a raccoon that was the nine oh eight. 00:04:32 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, that was not oaight yep, Carl wild yearline and then Carl wild Yearline and rode it. 00:04:38 Speaker 5: Off into the sunset. Yep. Let him go, and then. 00:04:41 Speaker 3: I forgot to actually keep him. 00:04:45 Speaker 1: So we're we're all hunting, and see we see some cattle. And Andrew says, hey, there's some yearlins in there that were we've been needing to catch but haven't. And so Dale Brisbee and and Uh and the team Andrew Evan Dalton all take off with lariot ropes. It was fun to watch, I mean, just full, you know. They we kind of just walked up to him and then you guys just turned on, you know, put the spurs to him, and uh we were kind of standing back and uh yeah, it was it was cool to watch. And they run this herd I don't know, seven or eight cattle into the woods and they just kind of disappear, and everybody that I can see fades, you know, kind of like quits like kind of like, oh man, they got away. That's what it looked like from like two hundred yards, except there was one cowboy who wasn't accounted to those He was unaccounted for for real. And we just keep riding and then it was like there, I'm gonna be really nice to you right here. Just once. It was like a scene from Man from Snowy River when they're like. 00:06:03 Speaker 6: There's no way we'll catch them except for deleted scene deleted. 00:06:11 Speaker 1: And then that's the way I remember it anyway. And uh, anyway, we come around the corner and somebody seized dale like through the woods, like two hundred yards in front of us, on the ground with one of the yearlings. 00:06:25 Speaker 3: What can I say? 00:06:27 Speaker 1: I mean, how did it happen? 00:06:29 Speaker 3: Uh? Yeah, I mean it was just so wild, you know. 00:06:32 Speaker 4: I just I I did, in fact miss with my loop. We were running into the wind and Uh, it just kind of like and yeah, I knew the way he was running that I could maybe get ahead of him and get him turned back. 00:06:56 Speaker 3: And so when he uh, I. 00:07:00 Speaker 4: Got him turned but there was still some brush and I want to say a dove, you know, probably eight feet through the air. It was like it looked like Michael Jordan. Actually, what really happened was he fell down in some brush. I got off, I ran up. I saw y'all coming. I kicked him three times. I was like, good up, And so he got up and he started running and I ran beside him. So it was kind of a fair chase thing, and I dogged him with an audience. 00:07:34 Speaker 1: Well see, I didn't know that full story until later this afternoon. All day I had in my head that you were just like running through big timber full speed. 00:07:43 Speaker 3: I mean, that is what happened, bulldog. Andrew? 00:08:22 Speaker 7: First thing I seen, I just seen his horse come out, and then Dale was riding the yearlin. I kind of figured that's what happened, is because that cow almost fell down out in the open and like stumbled and got back up, and he wasn't moving very fast when he got back into the woods. 00:08:39 Speaker 5: Pretty easy to do. 00:08:40 Speaker 4: Yeah, but hey, I was also the one that killed the raccoon. I mean obviously you feel like it would help you. 00:09:30 Speaker 7: It's all the same for me because we just we take all these cattle in and and you know, we get paid by the head per month to take care of them. So you know it's ah, it's good for the guys that own them. But yeah, you know, we just got all the care on them and everythinks so. But it's really good cattle markets and it's amazing right now. 00:09:51 Speaker 1: Who I mean we're paying for that at the at the supermarket, Like that's the short version. I mean, folks on them, I steak, you're cheaper or more expensive?
