Sliced raw fish on plate with bowls of rice, cucumber, slaw; duck decoys on floor

Duck Camp Dinners Poke Bowl

Chef’s notes

The recipe below is not meant to be the definitive authority onsushi, poke bowls, or evenpreparing raw fish.

Here in Venice, Louisiana, Blake and his crew share some of the food they are passionate about. In this case, that food is raw wahoo and tuna which they caught only days before we arrived at camp.

Of course, these fish can be cooked but we believe that some of the purest way to enjoy these species is to leave them as unadulterated as possible. This is the Duck Camp Dinners Poke Bowl.
