Kimi Werner returns to Maui -the island she was born and raised on, to go on an overnight boat adventure with one of her best friends, Lauren Spalding. They bring the kids along, which always adds a bit of chaos for these two moms, as they set off to go spearfishing to feed their families at sea. Once they are back on land, Kimi prepares a family feast but has her heart set on going nabeta fishing with her dad. Boat issues and both her parents slowing down due to age and health, make for some challenges but Kimi refuses to give up and learns a lot a long the way.
