Shop Any of Our Stores to Support Permanent Public Land Access

Nothing is more valuable to hunters, anglers, and other outdoor recreators than public land and the ability to access it. Unfortunately, there are about 15 million acres of landlocked public land in the United States—land you own but can’t use.

So, we established the Land Access Initiative (LAI) in 2020 to improve and increase public access, one project at a time. Two years ago, we made 215 acres of land accessible to the public at Shiloh Pond in Kingfield Township, Maine—a state that is 90% privately owned. This year, we’ve narrowed in on a few projects for 2023 and need to bridge the gap to make the most impact.

To raise funds for this new project, starting December 14, 2022, MeatEater will be donating 10% of all sales across all of our stores to the Land Access Fund until we reach our goal of an additional $200,000. Shop now to gear up for your next hunting season and provide more public access for many hunting seasons yet to come. You can also donate directly here.
