Mike Stevens is a Southern California-based writer who has been embedded in the sportfishing industry since the mid ‘90s. He’s worked in tackle shops, at a marine fish hatchery, in marketing for well-known outdoor brands, and now as a full-time outdoor writer. When he’s on the water, it’s usually on the Pacific Ocean for the “best bite available” or in the Eastern Sierra chasing mountain trout.
