Steven Rinella is an outdoorsman, author, and the founder of MeatEater. Rinella is the host of the television show and podcast MeatEater as well as The History Channel’s Hunting History with Steven Rinella. The author of more than a dozen books, many of them New York Times bestsellers, Rinella was born in Twin Lake, Michigan, and now lives in Montana with his wife and three kids.

Janis Putelis is the Director and Executive Producer of the Netflix Original series MeatEater and co-host of The MeatEater Podcast. Before joining MeatEater in 2012, Putelis spent over a decade guiding hunting and fishing trips in Colorado, Arizona, and Mexico and three years in a professional kitchen.

Brent's a lifelong outdoorsman who's family roots go back over 150 years in the river bottoms of rural Arkansas. Brent is a career law enforcement officer, former waterfowl guide for over 25 years around Stuttgart, Arkansas, and the proud parent to three children, and grandparent to three grandchildren.

Clay Newcomb is an American outdoorsman, storyteller, and host of the Bear Grease Podcast. A 5th-generation Arkansan, Newcomb is an avid hunter, conservationist, and writer whose work explores the cultural and historical roots of hunting, rural life, and the American outdoors. He is passionate about conservation and hunting as a way to provide organic, ethically harvested game for his family. Before joining Meateater, he published Bear Hunting Magazine and produced video documentaries on bowhunting and wildlife conservation.

A senior editor in MeatEater’s book department, Randall Williams is a historian, a trivia and hot dog enthusiast, and an advocate on behalf of wildlife and public lands. A former fishing guide, he earned his Ph.D. in History from the University of Montana in 2015 and holds a BA from the University of Chicago. “Dr. Randall” lives in Livingston, MT, with his wife and their three dogs.
