MEATEATER'S CAMPFIRE STORIES WITH STEVEN RINELLA — DISCOVERIES, REVELATIONS & NEAR MISSES

The third edition of our Campfire Stories audiobook series is out in the world. It’s got more of the close calls you’ve come to love, plus stories about amazing finds and revelations in the outdoors.

There’s a story about a helicopter crash, the tale of a hunter whose remains were lost for more than fifty years, an Ice Age archeological find, and more.

One of the stories in the collection came our way via a call to the First Lite store. It involves one of our jackets, some bad weather, and a whole lot of bad luck. We’re offering up the complete story as a free excerpt, so take a listen below.
