Ronny Boehme

Ronny Boehme is a life-long bird hunter and sporting dog enthusiast who hunts as much as life allows. His obligations to family and work keep him bouncing between Michigan and Virginia, which enables him to enjoy five months of grouse hunting a year in addition to scattered bird hunting trips throughout the U.S. and Canada. He’s Senior Judge for NAVHDA, the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association, and he trains and breeds Bracco Italianos. While rare in the U.S., these dogs have a rich history as a hunting breed in Italy and they are among the oldest pointing dog breeds in the world. You can find Ronny at or write him at
