Hunting is a family affair and my 2012 elk camp reflected just that. Though comprised of the usual group of family and hunting brothers, this camp would be an incredible first for me. Rather than focusing on the primo tag in my pack and killing a big bull, nearly all of my hunt would be spent in camp with my infant son. My wife had also drawn a great tag and was grateful for the opportunity to spend a week in the woods. Aside from some great elk hunting, I was particularly excited as this would be the first time in years there would be three generations of my family in a hunting camp.
